ANTAN BLEND:
Antan Light oil is a grade of Nigerian Light Crude Oil which has an API gravity of 26.4° (American Petroleum Institute gravity, or API gravity, is a measure of how heavy or light a petroleum liquid is compared to water); with a 0.27% Sulphur content (as % of mass) and has its port of sale in knock taggart FPSO/Antan Terminal.
BONNY LIGHT:
Bonny Light oil is a high grade of Nigerian Light Crude Oil with high API gravity of 33.4°
(low specific gravity) and 0.14% sulphur content. It is produced in the Niger Delta basin and named after the prolific region around the city of Bonny Island which is situated at the southern edge of Rivers State in the Niger Delta area of Nigeria. The very low sulphur content of Bonny Light crude makes it a highly desired grade for its low corrosiveness to refinery infrastructure and the lower environmental impact of its by products in refinery effluent.
The Bonny Light is in high demand specifically by American and European refineries, even all over the world. It is therefore a major source of income generation from the oil rich nation.
